Body Image with Susie Tucker
Listen in on this episode as special guest, Susie Tucker, shares her journey through body image issues, disordered eating, & perfectionism.
Susie shares her mantra for change which is: “You have to love yourself here to get yourself there.”, as well as some other tools she implements daily to “flip the script” and heal her relationship with herself and her body such as:
- Recognize when we have tapes or stories playing in our head. These are not truths. Most of them are stories we have borrowed from others.
- Hear these stories. What are they saying?
- Flip the Script
Susie also shares her gratitude practice with us, and how she used gratitude to go from hating her body to eventually loving her body and all it’s capable of.
