Comparison is the Thief of Joy We know this and yet we still compare ourselves to each other. Have you noticed that we usually compare another’s best strength to our worst weakness? Doing this lowers our self-confidence, which changes the way we’re able to show up in the world as our best self. How do we break the habit of comparing? Be aware you’re doing it. Most of the time we compare unconsciously – we don’t even realize we’re doing it. If we’re paying attention and recognizing when we’re doing this, we will be able to stop. Count your blessings.
