Redefining Health Part 2: Physical Health
This week I want to share with you what I know about Physical Health.
Physical health is defined as the condition of your body, taking into consideration everything from the absence of disease to fitness level. Physical health is critical for overall well-being, and can be affected by: Lifestyle: diet, level of physical activity, and behavior (for instance, smoking.)
Today we’ll be focusing specifically on Nutrition and Exercise.
Nutrition is more than just food.
It’s also our relationship with food, and who we are as eaters.
It also includes things such as our eating speed, eating rhythms, listening to our built-in hunger and fullness signals, and food behaviors.
We will discuss them all.
We also talk about the benefits of exercise and should you use it for weight loss.
